Tanya Charles-Morris is a highly accomplished nursing professional with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Most recently, she served as a Patient Care Supervisor at a rural hospital in Lutcher, Louisiana. Throughout her career, Tanya has excelled in diverse areas of healthcare, including psychiatric nursing, educational nursing, and clinical nursing. She has also held leadership roles as a Coach and Director, where she focused on enhancing patient care and fostering staff development.

A firm believer in lifelong learning, Tanya has consistently pursued opportunities to expand her expertise in nursing and management. She recently earned a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner and is currently working toward a postgraduate degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Beyond her professional achievements, Tanya takes great pride in her role as a mother. She supports her three children in their academic pursuits: one is earning a Juris Doctor degree, another is pursuing a master’s degree, and the youngest is attending college on a track and field scholarship.

In her leisure time, Tanya enjoys reading and traveling. She is deeply committed to improving psychiatric patient care and mentoring the next generation of nurses. Tanya looks forward to continuing her impactful journey in healthcare and making meaningful contributions to the field.
